Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 28, 2026

Faderlabs ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Faderlabs Transfer platform (the "Service"), a secure file transfer tool used to send and receive files between Faderlabs and its clients. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have in relation to that information.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to operate the Service:

  • Files you upload. Files transferred through the Service are stored temporarily on secure cloud infrastructure (Amazon S3) for the duration of the transfer link's validity period. Files are not accessed, read, or shared by Faderlabs except as required to deliver the Service.
  • Contact information. When you initiate a transfer, we collect your name and email address and the email address(es) of the intended recipient(s) in order to send download notifications.
  • Usage data. We automatically collect limited technical data when you interact with the Service, including your IP address (first-hop only), browser user-agent string, and timestamps of file opens and downloads. This data is used solely for security monitoring and transfer analytics.
  • Account information. If you sign in to the admin panel, we store your name, email address, and authentication identifiers provided by the Manus OAuth service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver files to intended recipients via secure download links.
  • Send email notifications confirming uploads and downloads.
  • Monitor transfer activity for security and abuse prevention.
  • Maintain and improve the reliability of the Service.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or uploaded files with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.

3. File Retention and Deletion

Files uploaded to the Service are stored for the duration specified at the time of upload (default: 7 days). Once a transfer link expires or is manually deleted by an admin, the associated files are no longer accessible through the Service. Residual data may persist in encrypted cloud storage backups for a short period before being permanently purged.

If you need a file removed before its expiry date, please contact us at [email protected].

4. Data Security

All files are stored in encrypted cloud storage (Amazon S3) and served via time-limited signed URLs. Data in transit is protected by TLS (HTTPS). Access to uploaded files is restricted to the intended recipient via a unique, unguessable token. Admin access requires authenticated sign-in.

While we take commercially reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Cookies and Tracking

The Service uses a session cookie to maintain authenticated admin sessions. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies are set. We use a privacy-respecting analytics service to measure aggregate page traffic; this service does not collect personally identifiable information.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on the following third-party infrastructure providers:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS S3) — encrypted file storage.
  • SMTP email provider — delivery of transfer notification emails.
  • Manus OAuth — admin authentication.

Each provider operates under its own privacy policy. We do not grant these providers access to your files or personal data beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver the Service.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
